The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America Edition continues one of Porsche’s most iconic American legacies.
In 1952, Porsche introduced the 356 America Roadstar, an open-top driver Porsche made exclusively for the North American market that embodied the American driving spirit. The tradition continues 30 years ago with the 964 America Roadstar and continues again 70 years after the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America version started with the 992 generation of the Porsche 911. True to its American-designed Porsche driver policy, it is available exclusively with rear-wheel drive and a 7-speed manual transmission.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Flat-6 engine with 473 horsepower and 420 lb / f torque, Porsche Active suspension management, sport exhaust and optionally available Porsche ceramic composite brakes and rear-axle steering make it modern. Performance machine that respects the classic driving tradition. The color, inspired by both the 1953 356 America Roadstar and the American Flag, features an azure blue of the 356 America Roadstar, as well as an entertaining feature of white and guards red accents. American-themed accents continue on the inside of the black leather, including the “America” embossing on the armrest and the guards red seatbelt.
Only 16 examples of the 356 America Roadstar were made, making it one of the rarest 356 versions ever, and Porsche said the new 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America version would be one of the rare 992 911s. It is expected to reach US dealers by the end of 2022, starting at $ 184,920 for the 2023 model year.
