The new BMW 3 Series gets a facelift and upgraded technology

BMW’s 3 Series has been updated with a facelifted exterior and loads of new technology.

BMW says the 3 Series is the “core” of the brand. With more than 45 years in the sedan and 35 years in the Turing model, the BMW 3 Series is a popular and successful luxury medium-sized car and a representation of BMW’s best and most iconic work. These new updates help the 3 Series maintain its status in the future and add lots of new features to the car that make it look, feel and drive fresh. The exterior features a facelift with a new front apron with air intake that helps cool the braking system, a rear apron and redesigned lights and grille.

It’s in technology, however, that the 3 Series is really starting to show that it has been updated. The standard BMW curved display now uses iDrive’s latest BMW operating system 8, and a 12.3-inch screen and 14.9-inch screen behind the steering wheel combine for infotainment, creating a seamless and beautiful infotainment system. And intuitive by switching buttons with touch and voice input where possible. Also standard are three-zone climate control, BMW map navigation and BMW’s 8-speed steptronic transmission. With a new face, the BMW 3 Series is ready to continue as a hero for the brand
