Previous mini electric picture leaked
Although it is not seen in the teaser image, Mini Head of Design Oliver Helmer has confirmed that each model in its next-generation range will have a variation of the iconic Union Jack LED tail light signature.
Also, each model will have a full digital OLED instrument cluster and a circular infotainment screen with a physical button at the bottom.
It is believed that this new infotainment screen was recently spied on in a new generation mini electric hatch.

The concept of Vision Urbanat
Based on previous updates from the Mini, its next-generation model lineup will include the following cars:
- Available with classic 3-door hatch, gasoline and electric power. It is expected to be smaller than the current car
- Countryman SUVs, Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz have grown to compete with GLA and petrol and electric power
- A new SUV for slot between 3-door hatch and Countryman, possibly called Aceman
- Another premium compact car in a still unpublished segment, presumably based on the Vision Urbanat concept
- A new convertible, will end in 2025
As previously detailed, the electric versions of the new-generation mini hatch are being jointly manufactured by BMW and Great Wall Motor and will be manufactured in China.
The petrol versions of the fourth generation Mini are expected to ride on BMW’s FAAR front- and all-wheel drive architecture, an evolution of the UKL platform used by today’s models.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
Mini has previously confirmed that the next-generation hatch will be launched in time for the 2023 model year, possibly showing its face in mid-2022.
