Jaguar has just released a limited edition version of the high-performance F-Pace SVR SUV – with 20 examples available in Australia.
Dubbed Jaguar F-Pace SVR version 1988This limited edition model pays homage to the XJR-9 racer that won the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A total of 394 examples will be created, corresponding to the number of laps of a Jaguar Le Mans racer in 1988.
Orders are now open to Jaguar SV dealers expecting the first Australian delivery in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The 2023 Jaguar F-Pace SVR version is priced from 1988 $ 189,531 before on-road costsWhich is about $ 45,000 more expensive than a regular F-Pace SVR.
It is driven by the same 5.0-liter supercharged V8 Engine Production 405kW Of power and 700Nm It combines torque with an eight-speed automatic transmission, including drives sent through an all-wheel drive system.
Jaguar claims that the F-Pace SVR version 1988 can do 0 0 to 100km / h sprint in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 286km / h.
This special edition was designed by FV Pace SVR’s Personalization Division SV Bespoke and contains “an emotional specification, inspired by Jaguar’s rich racing tradition”.
A unique specification includes a specially made Midnight Amethyst Gloss exterior paint color that is exclusive to the 1988 version.
According to Richard Woolley, creative director of Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), more than 40 variations of deep exterior paint colors were evaluated to create the desired color depth.
Other bespoke features include 22-inch champagne gold satin imitation alloy wheels, sunset gold satin interior and exterior details, an ‘SV Bespoke commissioning graphic in a’ 394 ‘, and illuminated seal plates and dash “subtle” SV and version 1988.
There is also a sliding panoramic glass sunroof, heated and ventilated front performance seats, semi-aniline ebony leather upholstery, open perforated carbon fiber interior finish, head-up display and a wireless phone as standard.
As standard, there is an exterior black pack with side mirror caps, brake calipers, wheel center caps and SVR badges with the letter R in a glossy black finish.
Like the regular F-Pace SVR, this special edition gets the latest version of the Pivi Pro infotainment system with Amazon Alexa integration. The central infotainment touchscreen measures 11.4 inches in the F-Pace range.
The infotainment system now also has what3words integration, which means navigation destinations can be set using unique three-word strings consistent with specific 3m square locations.
Like other Jaguar models, this special edition model is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty. There is also five years of roadside assistance.
Jaguar also offers a five-year service package for F-Pace SVR owners, priced at $ 3750.
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR version will be featured on the SVO’s display with the 1988 Le Mans-winning XJR-9 racer at 24 Hours of Le Mans, which runs from 8 to 12 June.
It will also be shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 23 to 26 June 2022
