The first example 2022 Ford Fiesta ST Arriving in Australia has lost their branded sound system, leaving Ford to offer customers one of three offers as a remedy.
“Unfortunately, the first 73 new MY22 Fiesta ST vehicles for Australia were built with a subwoofer (branded audio system) with a Bang & Olufsen Play 10 speaker system instead of a non-branded, 6-speaker audio system,” said a spokesman for Ford Australia.
“The issue is now resolved and all future arrivals will have a branded audio system as desired.”
Of the 73 vehicles, 44 were assigned to a buyer who signed a contract. As a result, Ford Australia is reaching out to these buyers to make a choice of their options.
“They can cancel their contract and return their deposit, or cancel their contract and wait for a Fiesta ST with branded audio system in the next few months, or if they want to continue their purchase we will give them Offering $ 500. Paying cash as a remedy, ”the spokesman said.
Fiesta STs are now in dealerships
Ford says it has identified the problem and has begun contacting customers before delivery begins.

Fiesta ST buyers will also find a feature that Ford previously said will not be available: AM Radio.
When Ford announced the price and specs for the Fiesta ST late last year, it said AM Radio would not be available because it would be phased out in Europe.
All arrivals include this feature.
