CHevrolet Corvette Buyers interested in customizing their mid-engine muscle car in Australia will have more choice. 2023.
Buyers are likely to call everyone who looks appropriate, if there are only a few.
The first batch of mid-engine Corvette for Australia was pre-configured, forcing buyers to find the car that most closely matched their choice from an existing stock pool.

“This means customers have more visibility about production time with the opportunity to personalize their car components.”
Customers will be able to choose from a full range of paint and decal colors, including three new wheel options, black or silver exhaust tips and the color of the brake caliper.
The interior can now be finished in all red or black with the option of contrast seatbelts.
Shipping of the 2023 C8 Corvette will begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The car sold by GMSV was built on Chevrolet’s right-hand drive in Bowling Green, Kentucky, instead of being locally rebuilt as the Silverado ute for Australia.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter naturally-aspiring V8 engine with 364kW of power and 630Nm of torque at the rear of the cabin. It is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Australian standard equipment will include a Z51 performance pack and a nose-lift across the full range, including a head-up display and a 14-speaker Bose sound system.
GMSV has sold 68 Corvettes so far in 2022 On-road pricing for the 2LT coupe started at $ 144,990 and expanded to $ 189,990 before the on-road for the carbon version.
