The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB electric crossover is priced at $ 55,550, going on sale this summer.

Mercedes-Benz is rapidly filling its portfolio of electric vehicles and not every entry is at the top end.

The latest arrival is the EQB based on the GLB-class compact crossover. It starts selling at $ 55,550 this summer, with a চার 1,050 destination charge. Mercedes also has an EQA based on the GLA-class, although this model is not yet available in the United States.

The EQB was first shown last fall and we’ll see it as a 2022 model, initially in the EQB 300 and EQB 350 grades. $ 55,550 starting price for EQB 300. Opt for the EQB 350 and you have to pay at least, 59,100 including destination.

Both have a 66.5-kilowatt-hour battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive. Mercedes did not specify an EPA range estimate, but both grades should cover more than 200 miles. The EQB 300 has 225 hp while the EQB 350 has 288 hp.

Compared to the GLB-Class, the EQB benefits from unique styling treatments on the front and back with the addition of new lights. The interior is almost identical to the GLB-Class, which has a capacity of seven seats, although the navigation system is specifically designed for electrical mobility. It includes GPS data, traffic sign identification and information from various vehicle sensors to assist in overall efficiency and provide accurate range information including any required charging stop calculations. It has a 10.25-inch screen for instrument cluster and infotainment screens and offers augmented reality graphics.

U.S. customers will receive two years’ worth of the Mercedes Me Charge program on top of an unlimited 30-minute charging session on the Electrify America network for the first two years after activating an account.
