In 1969, muscle cars were as popular as ever as automakers like GM, Ford and Chrysler made models with a lot of power after tapping. For Chevrolet, their Central Office Production Order (COPO) system has produced a limited run of Camaros powered by the ZL-1 all-aluminum big-block engine. To celebrate these vehicles, Specialized Vehicle Engineering will build 50 of the 2022 YENKO / SC® Stage I Camaros.
This limited edition Camaros gets their 1,050 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque from a supercharged custom-built 416 CID (6.8L) engine, based on production 6.2 liter LT-1 engine. This engine is equipped with a blueprinted LT-1 aluminum block, computer-balanced race-quality rotating assembly, forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam steel rod, imitation aluminum piston, CNC ported high-flow ARP. Strength head and main studs, a custom supercharger with a 10-rib dedicated belt drive system, an upgraded fuel system and injectors, a large throttle body and a custom stainless steel exhaust system.

To match the huge amount of power that this Camaro has, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has signaled a new design to this limited edition Camaro. From the interior to the exterior, there are many features that allow it to stand out among all the other Camaros. These include an open carbon fiber hood scoop with body-painted carbon fiber hood, hood cowl badge, YENKO® crest badge and unique side stripe. Inside, the cabin is full of embroidered floor mats and the YENKO® trademark on the headrest. Additionally, nine factory paint color choices and excellent colors are available for sYc® side graphics.
