DeLorean is finally back, but the regeneration icon is battery powered instead of a flux capacitor.

Not going back to the future

The original DeLorean DMC-12 was 168.0 inches long and 78.3-inches wide, with a 95.0-inch wheelbase. At 196.7-inches long, 80.5-inches wide, and a 90.6-inch wheelbase, the Alpha5 is large in every way.

The Alpha 5 will make its public debut on the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Awards ramp on August 18 and will appear on Concept Lawn during the Monterey Car Week on August 21.

DeVries says M.A. DeLorean cannot survive as a company with only one coupe because it is a niche market. Other models are set to increase Alpha5.
