Cupra Terramar SUV has revealed the idea

Sporty Spanish spinoff, Volkswagen Group ClothHas opened up its vision for 2025.

The Terramar That’s a key part of the vision. It will be offered with a choice of petrol or plug-in hybrid powertrains, the latter of which will demand 100 km of electric range.

At 4.5 meters long, the current capra of the Terrama will be larger than the Attica or Formentor. Instead, it may be somewhat similar to the Volkswagen Tiguan, pushing the brand into the “hot spot of the SUV segment.”

It will be manufactured at Audi Q3 wagons and sportbacks, as well as at a Volkswagen Group plant in Georgia, Hungary.

“It simply came to our notice then. Our new sporty hybrid SUV combines bold proportions with a long striking bonnet, while the shark nose means groundbreaking resistance and determination to win, ”said George Diz, Capra Design Director.

A new version of the UrbanRable concept and the Tavaskan electric SUV concept as well as the Terramar were released.

The trio of new models are part of the plan to sell 500,000 cars per year by 2025 and “move forward with our international expansion”.

The new brand sold 79,300 cars worldwide last year, 189 percent more than in 2020. It says it will only sell electric cars after 2030.

Australia is one step closer to pushing that expansion. Capra brand orders opened in May with a series of launch variants, set to touch in July.

The brand will offer the Leon Hatch and Ateca and Formanter SUVs at launch in early 2023 with the Burn Electric Hatch.
