The redesigned 2023 Lexus RX will make its online debut on May 31 at 8:00 pm EDT, Lexus confirmed on Wednesday.
The automaker has released a teaser image showing some of the front end of the crossover SUV, but other details will be kept secret until later this month.
Like the current RX, this fifth-generation model will slot between the Lexus LX and NX in size, price and prestige. We already see similarities with the NX in the Lexus teaser image.
The new RX is likely to get a 14.0-inch touchscreen that debuted on the NX as part of the 2022-model-year renewal of the smaller crossover. Toyota Motors built the screen and its accompanying infotainment system in North America, and replaced Lexus’s frustrating touchpad interface.

2022 Lexus RX 350L
The RX is currently available in RX 350 camouflage with the 3.5-liter V-6 and in the form of the RX 450h, which uses the same V-6 as the basis for a hybrid powertrain. It looks like maybe a hybrid alternative to the 2023 RX will come back, but we can see that the Lexus is tearing up the V-6 for a turbo-4 in the name of fuel efficiency. A plug-in hybrid: following the lead of NX is also possible, but may not be available at launch.
It is also not clear if the three-row RX L will return. Lexus is planning a new three-row crossover সম্ভবত probably called the TX যা that will be paired with a long-wheelbase version of the Toyota Highlander known as the Grand Highlander. Toyota is expected to arrive in mid-2023, with Lexus about six months later. That means both will probably be considered as 2024 models.
For now, stay tuned for the 2023 Lexus RX release later this month.
