2023 BMW M2 leaked | Care Expert

BMW A swarm of new high-performance models and a new generation celebrating its 50th anniversary M2 Coupe seems to be part of the celebration.

The German automaker has not yet set a release date for the two-door coupe, however bmw_m_colector They shared a picture on their Instagram showing the back of the new M2 without any disguise overnight.

The image appears to have been taken with a hole in the tarp around the vehicle. It looks like BMW is either saving the car or preparing for a photoshoot because a tripod has a light bar.

We’ve seen numerous M2 camouflage prototypes spied on during previous tests and recently a 36-second teaser video pointing to a high-performance coupe.

The exterior paint color of this M2 coupe is something we have never seen before. It is a light blue color that apparently combines blue and silver metallic paints.

The blocky, almost muscular car-esque silhouette from the spy prototype remains but we can now clearly see the slim boot lip spoiler, vertical rear air vent, large rear diffuser and quad exhaust pipes.

There are also large black wheels that we have seen in the Spidey prototypes before.

In standard camouflage, the M2 will have more power than the outgoing M2 Competition, which produces 302kW and 550Nm from its 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine.

The regular M2, last seen here in 2018, has 272kW and 465Nm.

The new M2 Competition, whose output has increased to 335kW or even 365kW, is also expected to continue a six-speed manual.

This level of power in the new competition puts M3 and M4 larger than M2’s crosshairs. They both pump 353kW and 550Nm base, manual camouflage, competition models 375kW.

Thanks to the spy photos, we already know that the M2 will come with a BMW curved display.

The screen set-up looks similar to the i4 and iX, which uses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch central touchscreen mounted in the same housing.

The twin screens of these models run the latest BMW iDrive OS 8.0 infotainment software, including satellite navigation as standard.

In contrast, the Regular 2 Series currently has a separate 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen locally powered by OS 7.0, although BMW has confirmed that it will adopt a curved display in Europe from July.

BMW M has already unveiled several new cars as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations
