Ford Suggested its much-anticipated arrival Ranger And Ranger Raptor The models have been postponed for a month.

“We continue to address global semiconductor and covid-related supply chain challenges. The combination of these two factors means there will be some waiting time, but we are doing everything we can to minimize them, “said a spokesman for Ford Australia.
“We expect the first arrival of the Ranger in July, with the first arrival of Raptor and Everest in August.
“We continue to communicate with our dealers so they can keep our customers up to date.”
The Ranger and Ranger Raptor were scheduled to launch in June and July, respectively, and the related Everest SUV in August. The timing of the latter remains unchanged.
Earlier this month, Ford Thailand’s manufacturing staff held a farewell party to celebrate the production of the first shipment of the next-generation Ranger unit.
Some of the vehicles featured in photographs of the event are making their way to Australia.
Although Ford has begun mass production and shipping of the new Ranger, a leaked dealer bulletin in late April revealed that there are fewer examples of COVID-19 lockdown money in China being sold to dealers than the initial forecast.
“Next Gen Ranger Q2 production has been negatively impacted as some major Chinese cities are now under the Covid Lockdown,” read the confidential bulletin dated April 27, 2022, which was shared on Facebook.
“Unfortunately, a portion of the expected Q2 production volume will need to be re-calendered. [sic]It is expected to be available in the next fortnight with a detailed impact on production. “
“Production losses from Q2 have delayed the expected time of the April allocation (for July production) as we evaluate the latest data available and are now expected in dealer status on Thursday morning, April 28.”
“As a result of the production loss impact from Q2, a portion of the April dealer allocation (for July production) now has to be devoted to generating existing dealer orders from the previous allocation, reducing the volume available for dealer allocation in April. “
Ford said the Chinese Covid lockdown affected 91 suppliers and 393 unique parts used in the Ranger.

The headliner diesel is Ford’s 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 that produces 184kW of power and 600Nm of torque. A modified 2.0-liter dual-turbo diesel four-cylinder produces 154kW (below 3kW) and a familiar 500Nm, while the base 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder produces 125kW and 403Nm.
The V6 diesel costs 000 3000 more than the 2.0-liter dual-turbo four-cylinder option.
The new-gen Ranger Raptor switches bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel for a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that produces 292kW and 583Nm.
Like the previous Ranger, this new generation model was designed and engineered for the world by Ford’s Australian engineering division.
It uses an updated version of the T6 architecture but it takes a big step in terms of technology.
As we know, this new Ranger will be the basis of the next generation Volkswagen Amarok, which will be released on July 7.
