13th Grand Prix de Monaco honors historic Bugatti and Louis Chiron with a co

The latest Grand Prix de Monaco Historic honors the interconnected history of both the Bugatti and the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Monaco Grand Prix is ​​one of the most important traditions in the racing world for almost 100 years. At the time, it was considered one of the most challenging race tracks in the world, a place where the most legendary moments in motorsport were created. The history of the Bugatti brand is closely related to the Monaco Grand Prix, as it was a Bugatti that won the first Monaco Grand Prix. Since then, Bugatti has won twice more in a row, one of those victories being completed in 1931 by Louis Chiron.

Louis Chiron is the only driver to win the Monaco Grand Prix as a native Monegasque, with his Bugatti Type 51, and he competed in his final Grand Prix in Monaco in 1955, finishing sixth in his Lancia D50 and the oldest driver.
